This is a fantastic day out for female teenagers and their mums who are keen to experience some outdoors adventure in a safe environment. The staff are wonderful, extremely knowledgable, enthusiastic and supportive. We had a fabulous day and highly recommend.

I had the most amazing time at the Women's Only Adventure Day on 21 May. The staff were super professional and friendly (and all women too!), the food was delicious and even going alone I felt very welcomed into the group of women. I was hesitant about whether I could do all of the activities but loved that I could give things a try without judgement. WONDERFUL.

Have been to 2 womens adventure days run by first step outdoors and have had an amazing time! They are well organised, friendly, knowledgeable and always up for a good laugh. Cannot recommend them enough!

I had a wonderful time on the half day caving trip. Fantastically organized, this trip was achievable for all and loads of fun. Kate and her team were encouraging and offered challenges for all levels. Would definitely recommend this outer world experience

Just had the most amazing day out with the 'First Step Outdoors' crew, thankyou team!! Everything was so professionally run - excellent safety, great food & coffee, super friendly staff & nice to meet some other adventurous women. Was awesome to see so many women coming along for the day on their own - everyone got to know each other & got along so well.

If you’re looking for a challenge and adventure but wanting to feel in safe and knowledge hands. This is 100% the company to go for. Kate and her team are excellent. I had an absolute blast on our women caving adventure. Now I feel confident to do it again. Thank you!

Fantastic day out for us at Pirongia Forest Park Lodge. Kate and her team certainly have experience and abundant knowledge of the maunga making it interesting and educational for the class. Highly recommend this venue and team.

I joined the High Ropes Women’s only adventure day and absolutely loved the experience. The staff was great and really well trained. Very well organised event. I look forward to join them on more adventures in future
