Nice wide open spaces. Hut has no beds and camping has warning signs about tree fall danger.

A remote Campsite accessed up a long dirt Rd, with a few small fords and one Ford close to the camp that would be unsuitable without 4wd.Long drop toilet. Lumpy ground suited to roof top tent with the odd flat site.

Fantastic place to camp out at for a night or two in summer, highly recommend going in with a 4wd but my lil caldina made it fine. Be aware there is a wee stream to cross on the road there

A lovely spot for a bit of solitude. Amazing views. Basic amenities: long drop and water. No mobile coverage but good reception 1km down the road.

Basic facilities (water, long drop, hut), fantastic views, and (if it's important to you) great cell reception. Finding a flat spot of ground to pitch a tent was difficult, and the access road isn't suitable for 2wd in winter.Really nice spot to get away from it all, and free to boot!

Fantastic little spot not far out from St bathans, has a long drop onsite and plenty of land for camping, the mosquitoes aren't to bad, but are around. There's plenty to explore and keep the kids busy.

Great place to stop for lunch or overnight. Pine trees for some shelter, toilet on site. Hut open with fire and bench. Warm and dry. Shallow creek to drive through if there has been rain. A car will usually be OK with entry.
