What a wonderful experience staying at LHS is!I stayed at Packhorse Cottage which was so beautifully appointed - a full kitchen, laundry, the most comfortable beds and plenty of room to cosy up by the fire and read. Lots of outdoor living and dining space too.I also did the 4WD outback experience - learning more about the farm and driving up to the saddle was very special. (I had the bonus of Sadie, Labradorable, coming too) And I was grateful to be able to plant a Kowhai adding to the other natives they have planted along the Lake Hawea lakeside.Outstanding hospitality on all levels, I will be back with the family!

Loved our stay at the Packhorse Cottage in April 2015. We'll appointed and charming cabin with full kitchen, cable TV and plenty of room, but the best part is being on a working Sheep Station with thousands of sheep! Beautiful surroundings and wonderful hosts complete the package. Would love to return on a future trip to New Zealand!

We stayed in cottage Homespur and had a wonderful time. Everything in there is so cozy and so perfect that we just stayed in the cottage whole day. We prepared slowcooked food in the beautiful cast iron pots and enjoyed it in front of a beautiful fire. Such a relaxing stay, a slow down" moment. The hosts were welcoming

We stayed with family in the Lake House which had absolutely stunning views. Wonderful wholesome experience, with amazing style, merino wool and linen all over. Our hosts could not be nicer and we loved getting the tour of the grounds and the deeper insight into the carbon negative, climate positive approach of regenerative farming. Try the hot tub under an unspoiled stary sky! Sad to leave but looking forward to coming back!

The Ross family are doing an exquisite job stewarding this property. Stand up hospitality and I am very grateful to have planted a kowhai amongst the 14,000 other natives they have planted along the Hawea lakeside. Bravo.

This place is INCREDIBLE! A real treat to stay here. The accommodation is next level, and the beds are the most comfortable I think I've ever slept on. For sure I'll be back.
