Great park, the kids ran around burning up energy... while us olds, chilling with our drinks. Cafe, toilets, ice cream all nearby... easily spent hours here. Cheers

Days Bay has it all in Summer, beach. Parks, Picnic spots, Walks, Tennis courts, cafes, sands , walk on Pier and Manu's. Fishing and Ferry rides to Wellington and Matiu Island all year round unless the seas are unfavourable.

Williams Park
It's a park, world famous in Lower Hutt. Not much to do, but there's the Days Bay Pavilion for food and drink, as well as the beach. Can't beat it on a good day.

Williams Park
A neat sheltered spot for a picnic with friends the fam. We like to take our cricket set and usually find a few other kids (and old ones) will join in. Café for food options and the walk up to the lookout right above the park is just the perfect length for older preschoolers and up. Take the ferry over from Wellington City and they will let you bring your bikes over to ride along the bays down to Pencarrow Lighthouse too.
