Been here a few times now and each time the food has been fresh and nicely cooked. It's in St Heliers so prices are slightly higher than in some parts of the city although worth the extra.We went there on a busy Saturday evening so there was a 20 minute wait for our order. The staff were friendly and informed us of the delay. We look forward to going there again.If you are from out of the area then we recommend taking your food up the hill to watch the sunset from above Ladies Bay looking back over the Sky Tower.

Snapper Great although a little oily. BBQ Pork Buns Not even anything like display photo, Pancake very oily. Rang up to let them know my issue's and they said come back. The 1 is for the fish. Not a Happy customer, Nil return

We spent $81.00 last night at this establishment - the food was ok however the service was very rude. It’s the second time we have bought from this place and both times it has been shocking. I’d rather support a local business that is appreciative of their customers, back to GI we go, half this price and service with a smile. No more chances.

In my opinion, one of the best fish and chips in Auckland. If you want to try something different from the classic beer battered fish, they have the crumbed option (really yummy!)

We are Glendowie locals and regular customers at The Fishmonger. The fish is always fresh and tasty and the chips are perfectly cooked: crisp on the outside and hot and soft on the inside. Well done guys ... five stars!
