Very friendly staff (including Molly, the dog). Bed was super comfy. Great place to relax or freshen up after doing the trek.

The perfect lodge for a get away. Warm, friendly hosts, and the facilities are clean and tidy. The bed in our room was super comfy too. Lovely spa with beautiful views out to the ocean. We will be back, and next time will walk the Humpridge Track. The Tuatapere locals are really friendly too.

This lodge was the perfect location to do the Humpridge Track. The hosts were so nice and accommodating including their dog, Molly! They provided transport from Invercargill for us and made quite a few scenic stops along the way.The beds were comfy, we had warm showers, and had everything we needed in the kitchen (including coffee machine, microwave, all cookware, stove/oven, fridge). There was a very cozy rec room with a tv and tables for everyone as well.We were absolutely exhausted and starving after the Humpridge track and this was the perfect place to rest after the trail. The host even gave us some of his homemade sausages which were phenomenal! If you're lucky, he may have some to sell for you as well! I highly recommend this stay before and after your walk.

Really liked staying here, was warm and friendly with a smart tv in our room. One thing that I would recommend is that maybe guests get showers free or cheaper than $6 for two minutes. There’s was lots of extra things we could buy like a spa and pizza that would be great for after a big tramp, but as a guest it would be nice to have some of those things at a reduced price since we have already paid to stay there.
