Ive had 2 HP laptops replaced with an ACER. Its amazing - Im on this laptop 24/7 BUT now need a new battery after all this time and been told there is a 4-8 week wait - WHY? 3 stars because of it

Acer computers are not trustworthy. Battery issues begin within 1-2 years and your laptop will uddenly no longer charge. My friend and I bought the exact same computer (Acer V Nitro) from two different Acer Vendors (Computer World and PB tech) - both have had these issues.

The experience with Acer has been poor. Bought home laptop through PB Tech. The plastic around the hinge area started cracking within a year. Under the consumer guarantee's act laptops for home should last 5 years. Basically Acer don't wont to know about it. Poor product support. Not recommended. Laptop itself works fine. After 12months, Acer don't wont to know you. Be warned

I will never buy one of your products again. When I first opened the laptop from the box I had to send it in for repairs due to an issue with how the windows OS was installed. This followed by the poor trackpad, battery and power supply issues throughout the entire usage of my laptop. I was using a Aspire Nitro V5 which is a high end laptop that costs $2000 and wouldn't even function properly.Do no buy an acer computer. You will not have your value for money.

Terrible. Can't read the letters on the screen most of the time. Have no idea how caps come on or go of. Charging period poor. Very disappointing! Only gave 1 as there is no option for zero or I would have given 0!

Bought new from Harvey Norman for my daughter on recommendation from salesman. Have constant issues connecting to wifi, especially after updates, took it back and they reinstalled adaptor or something, issue still persists. Laptop was certainly not cheap and feel it should have been replaced, was only just over a month old when this started. Do not recommend…

Just brought an Acer for a year, and just passed the one year manufacture warranty. The touch pad its broken. Seriously, just a year, can't imagine its only been in use for ONE year!Btw the touch pad isn’t the only way to use the laptop. Also use the mouse instead of it!What quality it is! Not recommend!

Terrible support. Still waiting 96 business hours later and no contact after email stated 24 Hours and customer support stated 48.Only a simple request to replace a faulty charger. I was directed by PBtech to do this personally as they said it would be faster than 2 weeks, shameful.

JUST USELESS! This company does not deserve a star but I had no choice to post this comment. Just wanted to speak to NZ Staff in Auckland but it keeps going to overseas call centre. I sent my laptop for the SECOND TIME because the first time they did not activate my Windows. And now they emailed me saying we are going to charge you $95 for installing new Windows? (HAVE PROOF). LISTEN ACER! to send my notebook for the second time I had to waste my petrol money to post office, printed the free post barcode! AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME!I'll never use your product again. I should've bought HP
