In one word - TERRIBLE.Have been in contact throughout the day and received nothing but miserable customer service. Have been promised not one but THREE URGENT" call backs today and not received a single one of them. More than one very rude/arrogant/snarky customer service operators. Outage website shows false and incorrect information.Have had a power outage for 30 hours now.Had a fault and was "repaired" by technician only for transformer to explode not long after.No assistance with spoiled food. No cares or considerations at all.Should be ashamed of themselves."

We just want to pass on a HUGE thank you to Tim who came out late yesterday to help with our power issue. We have a race day today that meant power was important and he stayed on and helped our electricians even when it was clearly an us issue!!

Fabulous service from WEL and their Service Linesman Ricardo. We had intermittent power supply and after calling Genesis, Ricardo arrived within the hour to find the wind had brought down an overhead cable and a short time later our power was restored. A rough night to be outside, the prompt service was much appreciated.

Last night at 7.15 pm, our power went off. No heat, no hot water, no lights. All the neighbours had power. We checked the fuses, and the outside mains. No problem. Rang our service provider, nothing wrong there. Put us through to Wel. Waited 15 mins for a person. No reason given but an 'outage'. I pointed out everyone else around us had power. No reason given, just an outage. I asked for how long. Specifically she tersely said 'quarter to midnight '. The temperature outside was 6degrees. I smell a rat. I think this was deliberate. It stinks. The service is dismal!

Endangering lives by not informing the public of planned power cuts with reasonable time, whilst also doing this at night in the middle of winter. I have no power to heat a bottle if my baby wakes up now

Fantastic service.... We had a power outage at our place at mid night - rang the WEL network - a technician arrived in 10 minutes time, checked,- power was not coming in to the property. Checked the box at the street and fixed it.... Can't thank them enough for the prompt service.

On hour 22 without power. They keep giving false hope by saying it’ll be done by a certain time and then extend by another 2 hours. It’s so frustrating!!!

Thank you to the Wel power gentleman who came out after hours to fix fault in Hooper Rd. Here within 20 minutes, fault located and fixed quickly.

Our power went out at 3:30pm without any notice or warning found out that they are fixing power poles due to a tree falling down on Saturday night they had all day Sunday to come start the work but didn't turn up till 3:30pm was told it would be back on at 7 pm looked on there web site and found out it won't be on till 9:45pm what a joke we have kids and we really on power for water as we are on tank water so a bit of a heads up would have been nice but still can't understand why they didn't do the work during the day when most people are not really on the power for anything can't have showers and had to cook food on bbq not cool it's a joke

Only rung up to ask a usual question to report a fault and at 3 55 am I got greeted ok st first but it quickly turned south.
