Nicest fish and chips in Pukekohe by a long way. Always consistent. Fish egg chip meal is awesome

I don't understand the hype. Fish burger was dry, not much flavour. Vege spring roll was quite oily. Chips ARE good, added chicken salt. I thought fish could do with a bit less batter. The fish and chips special is still a good price though for what you get but needs more fries

Every Friday we have these guys Fish and Chips. The Snapper is awesome. Crunchy as and big as fillets. Chips are dry and crispy. We have never been disappointed. AA++ Highly recommended

Unfortunately we ordered Chinese tonight and our chow mein was undercooked and basically a container of crispy noodles. Our sweet and sour container was only half full. Last time we ordered they same we were very happy but this time has really let us down.

1stly let me say that we are reluctant fast-food customers because we are so picky and fussy eaters.2ndly, we only try places based on the current reviews and score ratings of other customers.So, having said that, we were only looking at deep fried crisps/chips and possibly a piece of fish.We were blown away by the generous portion of chips and we then also tried a piece of fish.Well, the batter was medium and crsipy and tasty.The bonus to this review is that the fish was really very fresh.I commend the owner to their quality control and I would recommend the Hill takeaways to anyone looking for fish & chips.I rate my own experience as a 5 plus out of 5.Well done.

Yes, great chips, almost good hamburger like I used to buy. Where has the wonderful burger I used to make, and buy, gone?This was close but not quite.

It does ok fish and chips but nothing to write home about. The homemade springrolls are nice but could have more flavour. Im yet to find a decent well priced fish n chip shop in Pukekohe.

The girl took my money and forgot what I ordered she made me wait 30 minutes before I realized something wasn't right...they didn't put my order through and they were not busy. Her attitude towards me was off right from the start. I've never been into this take away before and I was looking forward to try something new. They were all so rude to me, I had my kids with me. I asked for my money back and left. Will never go there again. Zero stars if I could.
