The owner of the store has been putting up stickers and handing out leaflets promoting the far-right New Nation Party, which promotes conspiracy theories and whose website is full of racist dogwhistles.I'm really upset that someone running what should be an inclusive and welcoming community for people to play games together is doing this.I'm not going to support the store in future and would urge others to do the same.

Absolutely love the Games Club, Dave has created such an awesome atmosphere that keeps us coming back every week to join in. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun community to play nerdy games with, Dave is the most welcoming person you will ever meet!

Fantastic store for table top and board games. Great selection of popular and we'll known games, along with some unique titles. Good Warhammer selection along with paints, and also a good DnD selection including both books and miniatures.There was also a large space where they host various gaming events.

I came into the shop to play a game of MTG while in Tauranga and Dave behind the counter was so friendly and made me feel welcome. Will definitely be back again.

If you are looking for a game store where the workers make you laugh and have FANTASTIC customer service then have I got the place for you! They have a really good variety of games as well as figurines etc. We ended up going back on boxing day and purchasing more games!!!They also have good knowledge about what they are selling!I woukd highly recommend.

I was excited to check out a new (to me) game store. When I walked in I was surprised that the guy behind the counter gave me the evil eye when I entered with a mask on (he wasn't wearing one) and watched me as I walked around the store with the same nasty look the whole time I was there, then was difficult and obnoxious when I went to check out. I won't be going back there again, especially when you can get much better prices online without the attitude and the potential for catching covid.

Genuinely fantastic experience. Came here to play MTG while on holiday, and was slightly nervous after seeing the posts about the political leanings of the owner. However the staff were super helpful, going above and beyond.Great atmosphere, great crowd and the store has fantastic discount deals with the local food joints.However, there are a few political messages around for a far-right party which wasn't great.

Have been in there once. One star because there were fantastic board games but it would be 0 because the owner, Mr Brass, Is absolutely vile. Does not want to help anyone, has incredibly damaging extremist right wing propaganda and spews his foul knowledge" wherever he can. Sucks because the store has so much potential but it spoiled by a certain individual.Would rather shop online that go anywhere near this shop purely from Mr Brass."
