Ora Retreat

We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing spot to get away to. The owners are so accommodating, warm and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them over shared breakfasts, stories and music. Stunning views in every direction looking out over the lake and surrounding mountainside. Many beautiful, well loved, well trained dogs eagerly vying for our attention. A touch of Nirvana on earth. We hope to be back soon! -Patrick and Caitlin.

Magical place, with amazing views and chimney in the guest room! We had been welcomed by Holy who is such an amazing person. Had lovely chat and she made sure that we were comfortable with our stay and have everything we need!

We stayed here as part of a group work getaway. Kaari was a great host.The property has a great vibe and room for everyone, we were able to use the wifi and get some work done as needed, the kitchen is great with everything you will need, the bathrooms are excellent, beds were great (I slept amazingly well), lovely big fire in the lounge. Piano, guitar available and we partook of a Yoga experience (what fun) and the amazing sauna by the lake (definitely worth doing). We have been to Queenstown a few times as a group and this is the best place we have stayed and we will definitely be back.

Spent two nights at Ora and would highly recommend staying here when around Queenstown! Welcoming, friendly hosts (plus three gentle dogs) who are happy to provide privacy or spend time together, however you feel. Beautiful views from the rooms and deck. Well furnished, a giant comfy bed, breakfast is included, couldn't ask for more from this lovely spot! We'll be back, hopefully for a retreat at some stage!

Wonderful place to stay! Beautifully made up rooms, super communal kitchen/dining and living room, also a fabulous deck and garden with a totally fantastic view of the lake and spectacular mountains. Carrie, the owner is very kind and super helpful. If you are travelling to Queenstown I would definitely recommend you stay here.

A most incredible place to stay! Kaari was a welcoming host. The puppies were very sweet too. The tui tiny home was great size for two people, very comfortable and the whole bed size heating pad was great. Could definitely be comfortable with 3 in the loft bed. Wifi doesn’t reach the cabin but good service in the main house. Big kitchen to use and incredible views from the back patio. Very calming and secluded. Worth staying a few extra nights. Look what dates you are going as they do events and have special guests such as monks. Felt very safe and comfortable here. Shared bathroom in the main house was very clean. Lots of easy walking trails near by and close to the water. Will definitely be staying here again!
