want people coming into country to wait a month for phone bill or buy a car to open a bank account when entering new zealand refuse to send letter to address themselves as proof worse and worse policies to make it near impossible to start up. not helpful at all poor customer service. search for a bank that helps its customers get sorted to live.

If I could give zero star I would.Pathetic service. We have 6 business accounts for our company with you guys.Every week I bring my card to get change. 70 percent of the times machine either broken or out of change.So next step we get asked to queue in line and wait. Then I stead of just taking cash and provide change they make you wait until someone fixes the machine and you wait again.I wasted 30 to 45 minutes just to get change .They don't check machine regularly and rely on customers to go tell them to fix it.I had almost lost it today with you guys. Every week I tell you this issue but they do nothing about it it's like they don't care.You seriously need half a day to get anything done as line is ridiculously long most of the time. And for little things as getting change order they make you wait. Then why have machines in first place. Absolutely hate your process and to see how you handle your customer.Asked for a complaint form lady said we will raise the issue for you seriously you think I believe that?Everyone's time is important so start respecting that and actually make use of those machines.

ASB is giving me always a low time blow. From a poor customer service to fake/media promotion that they care about their customer and fraud on my card that I took the liberty to inform them that my card got hacked! They didn’t picked it up on their cybersecurity system! I’ve proven multiple times that no matter how long you bank with them, they dont count that as an extra points to give you some good quality service. Went here to open an account for int’l student who just arrived in nz. Apparently the manager don’t want or wont permit to send a letter to the addy for the student, she wants a too much complicated means of getting a simple thing. I reckon this is why NZ is not first option anymore of int’l students!

I'd give zero stars if I could! Needed to take out cash for my business, waited in line for 30 minutes just to be told they are cashless on the weekend. I work long hours during the week and only have time to get money out on the weekend. $2000 is the limit on the machine, definitely not enough.

I was at the branch on Saturday and while depositing the atm machine stopped in the middle of the transaction. Found out all ATM machines stopped at the same time. Went to see the Teller who informed me that she sees my money in the machine but can't open it. She assured me she will ring back the next day once they get my money out of the machine. Sunday afternoon, I rang the Customer Service, was told the matter was not reported by the branch. An email was sent to the branch, and I have been ringing the Contact Centre since and it already Tuesday and still no response from the branch!

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen, with this kind of attitude you guys will lose all your customers and reputation. Never come back to this branch again. It seems that in this branch some of the employees don’t know their duties. Management is completely absent.Used this branch for the last 15 years and don’t understand what happened to the staff and service level that was before.

Firstly, lovely customer service from the Indian man at the counter but they dont take cash deposits on the weekends WTH!?? I'm still waiting on my replacement debit card so went in to make cash deposit, no can do. I should've rung first as I had to travel across town for this, first time I've encountered this at an ASB bank ever, kind of strange really! Is this a new rule or why so?

Terrible Service even heard one of the customer service lady dealing with a customer over the phone and she mouthed B**** when she put the phone down. Absolutely disgusting Service will never return to this Branch. They will also go against what ASB website Advertisers and says we wrong until proof is shown then all of sudden customers right. Train your staff.

Abysmal. Booked an appointment for 2.30pm. Got halfway through the glacial line by 2.55pm. I asked an employee as she plodded past what I should do if I have a booking and was told to sit to one side and then offered to skip the whole line. I couldn't do that to my fellow sufferers and told them I would come back. What an incompetent outfit! Been with ASB since I was 5. Very tempted to switch after this experience but I doubt other banks will be much better. Theres a gap in the market for a professional bank that does more than just pretend to care about customer experience. Stop closing branches if you really care.
