We were driving pass to Nelson lakes and found this amazing chinese restaurant!! We walked in 10mins before opening hrs but they were very nice about it! We ordered the eat-in black pepper beef. The best I’ve ever tasted! (Better than Auckland!!) highly recommend! Also when asked for scenic places to visit they were great! Introduced us to heaps of places nearby!! 5 STAR!! Definitely recommend to everyone!! Thank you Raorao & Tony!!!!

The restaurant itself is old and not especially clean. The « Chinese » noodles were average. For 27$, the portion was not especially generous. Adding a few noodles to have enough to eat would make it worth the stop.The owners of the place are very nice and friendly.

Very friendly. Great customer service. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. Food was very quick too, didn't have to wait long at all. Got to enjoy my wait on a comfy couch too. Would definitely eat there again.

Food extremely disappointing. We had the sweet / sour pork and Chicken with noodles. Couldn't spot the protein amongst the frozen veges. Our meal of meh cost $50. Would have been better to get a hot chook, coleslaw and some rolls from the supermarket for a half the price.

Delicious stir fried rice with vegetables with pork. The one-staffed restaurant was very good, and the owner was super kind. She even gave us food scrapes to feed the eels which were in a local river nearby, in which we managed to feed at least 4 massive eels! Highly recommend coming to eat at this store!

Wow, what a hidden treasure this restaurant is. Had the best burger, also has a great menu selection. Very friendly and welcoming . Definitely worth the stop today. Thanks.

Great service and delicious food. The owner was warm and friendly, he even offered us some food scraps to feed the eels at the stream nearby. We would love to visit this restaurant again.

Very friendly staff, great tips to go see massive eels (even including a bit of proteins to lure them in!). Food was great! The only thing I would improve would be to include tofu in the vegetable sautee option! All considered, nice spot!
