Trinity Wharf Tauranga

Nice clean comfortable room with a large king size bed .The bathroom was huge with heated floors .Also catered for disabled guests. The heated bathroom floor came in handy for drying our wet clothes from doing the Hobbiton tour in the rain. Also the option to forgo daily room cleaning in exchange for a complimentary drink on the house per couple. When we ran out of tea bags a quick call to reception brought an rapid response from housekeeping to replenish our stocks. Smoking was permitted in designated areas outside. The hotel is located at the far end of town away from the CBD . Almost an industrial area . Parking was limited especially when an event or function was taking place .All in all a very pleasant stay.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Lovely view over the water. Room was spacious. Awesome bathroom. Buffet breakfast over the water in the sunshine was very relaxing and enjoyed the views. Dinner in the bar/lounge area was personal. Very lovely meals. Desserts are to notch.

From arrival to departure we had the best experience. The staff we encountered within our 3 days stay were very friendly and helpful. Archie’s smile at the bar was so inviting, Brooke on reception was friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed. Carl on departure was fast and efficient with check out. Our room was spacious and clean with a lovely big bathroom and had the bonus of a balcony overlooking the water. The king bed was super comfy and there was an offer of different pillows so getting what I needed was not an issue, thanks Chris for this from the second night onwards. Results = a perfect nights sleep. Complimentaries were adequate and it wasn’t a problem to get more if we needed. Location was great with restaurants, bars and shops a short walk along the waterfront. Would highly recommend and will be back to stay again. One bonus that could be added is stronger lighting with a magnifying mirror for makeup in the bathroom..

My husband and I went to Trinity Wharf for dinner to celebrate our 25 th wedding anniversary.We were disappointed with our meals. The portions were very small, we had to pay extra for veges, I know this has become normal in a lot of restaurants, but for the price of these meals not only were they small they were also extremely average in flavour and presentation.We also found some of the staff were not very attentive at all.Fair to say we will not go back.

Great location, but.Very nice restaurant and a great place for a small conference or family celebration.When staying here.... the rooms are tired and very bland. Strange choices make a list of issues.The stone chip curved shower floor, awful to stand onWater pressure went up and down and large heat fluctuationsThe room is colour bland, off white walls and cream laminate cupboard. Just some large wall art, a big mirror or NOOOOO a feature wall would help.The drapes are hand pull, not even a wand and you either have to pull back the sheer or walk behind the whole width of the room to close, and openNight staff have zero personality on reception. Maybe tired?Make sure you check the location of the room else you will have the longest and most confusing walk to a room that feels like it's in the next suburb. One staircase outside didn't have a night swipe so you walk a long way to get to outside or the car.But, there is good parking, and a nice pool.Of course the restaurant and small bar are nice too.The location is lovely for being near or over the water, but a hearty walk to anything you want.You are best to have a car, or like the walk.Will i stay again? I'll try another place first.

Nice hotel, great views. Worth staying If you're in Tauranga had room 101 which was by the pool pretty close so little noisy if there's kids. But otherwise Great stay. Not a far walk only 10 minutes to the wharf which has lots of food choices

Stayed for three nights and had a great stay. There for work. Nice big rooms with thier own spa baths, over looking the ocean, so very nice. Staff were friendly and I really enjoyed my stay. The only negative was the price of the breakfast $32 for breakfast is a little steep, otherwise everything thing else great, will definitely go again.

We have stayed at Trinity twice now. It is a great location close to restaurants and bars. Our room was lovely with great view over the harbour and the cleanliness and daily housekeeping was superb. Checking in and out was very efficient and friendly. The lobby bar was a great setup with a warm cozy fire and plenty of comfy couches and chairs. We caught up with friends there and had drinks and was very pleasant. The only problem was the bar staff were a bit vague and had no proper change for cash payments and we were given 50$ change in coins, so unless we could pay exact amount, they could not give us change in notes. We had buffet breakfast during our stay and the selection was very good, however the food was just above cold temperature.Very sad to look out our window across at the beautiful infinity pool and see lots of graffiti on the outside pool wall.Will recommend and will stay again.

We had a lovely apartment overlooking the sea. Incredible panoramic views in the main living area. Beds were comfortable, and all the essential bits and bobs were provided. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine, locks on the bathroom doors, and aircon in all of the bedrooms. I had to call down and ask for a fan for our room. We did find a bit of an ant infestation in our kitchen. The bar served some of the nicest chips I've ever had, worth a visit just for those!
