Kahu Kayaks Abel Tasman

It was so much fun and hot chocolate was so delicious! Brad is a really nice guide. he know well about birds and marine plants! We really enjoyed ! It was full schedule and an economical price! I really recommend it!

We had a guided tour to Split Apple Rock for our son’s 8th birthday with Jess. The morning was perfect from start to finish. Great set-up at Kahu Kayaks and super friendly staff. Jess was fab, so knowledgeable and professional yet easy-going and fun - the kids loved chatting to her and learning about the local area. The barista coffee on the beach was a great touch and really was brewed to perfection! I would highly recommend this tour to families, it was the icing on the cake for our Abel Tasman trip.

This is the best location to paddle. We had the best safety instruction I have ever had, filled with humor. Boats were in clean and overall good conditions if you consider that they must be used daily.We freedom kayaked for one day what came out to be about 6 hours (you have to be back by 4pm) but if you're not having more time in this region and are not often on the water that seems to be enough to me.You are going to see blue water, golden beaches that are only accessible from the water, rocks with seals on it...One of the best experiences of my New Zealand trip.Thank you!And when your arms are tired, you can have one of the best burgers at the fat tui" which you can find right on the car park."

We had an epic day with Caity paddling in the Marine Reserve - seal spotting, checking out secluded lagoons, morning beach coffee (proper coffee and hot chocolate!) and lunch on the beach and some great wildlife knowledge. Thanks so much!

The guys were super friendly and helped us pick out what sort of tour we wanted and even looked into what camp sites were still available and how long the canoeing would take. We rented 1 kayak and camping gear and stayed the night at a anchorage bay campsite and kayaked back the next day. Excellent trip and great service!!

We rented a kayak for the day and had a fantastic experience with Kahu Kayaks!The briefing was very professional and we left for the day feeling prepared and safe.The staff was amazing, very helpful and kind throught our whole experience.The kayaks were great, even received a wetbag to make sure our important things stayed dry (the whole compartment stayed dry, but you can never be too safe).

What a fantastic and amazing bunch of people first and foremost.Personable , attentive, knowledgeable and simply want you to have a great time.The activity itself was amazing!! Our guide (his name began with a C , but we cant remeber it sorry) took us to some wonderful spots, views and of course we went around apple rock and hung around on the beach there for drinks and snacks. He was awesome!!Everything was done and run like clockwork , the equipment was spotless, safe and well explained. We can't recommend this company enough!

1000% recommend this. Gliding past seal pups diving and playing in the stunning waters of Abel Tasman was unreal. I've done heaps of kayaking and these guys have the best equipment and briefing by far. Shout out to Brad for being a legend.

We had such an awesome day kayaking at Abel Tasman National Park. We wanted to do a combination of kayaking one day and walk back the other, and Kahu Kayaks was really helpful in making that work for us. We got very good instructions, they showed is the routes we could kayak and the people there are really nice. Would definitely recommend!
