Mixed experience for me - I met with a very nice artist who designed me two small pieces - one on the ankle and one on the finger. Both designs are gorgeous, however the finger tattoo has all but disappeared after only two weeks. A Melbourne tattoo artist informed me this is normal, but I was not informed whatsoever that it would not last. Perhaps it's my own fault for not knowing, but I feel I should have been warned.

This is a must visit for locals and tourists alike. The ponamu on display are glorious and show off the intricacies of the stone texture so well.The service is exemplary.It is great to watch the craftsmen at work and to feel so close to the creation of such beautiful works.Ponamu is the perfect everlasting gift for a loved one , and to mark a special milestone.
