I'm not doubt a geek and pc gamer. I switched to Econo and despite having top of line router etc my ping went from 1m to a average of 25m on speednet. Extremely noticeable in games where my pings was usually 28m on csgo and pubg pushed out to nearly 100m. After many back and forward emails there was basically no response and clearly no clue why there lag was high.If I wasn't a gamer then yes I'll stick with them as there price of giga Fibre for only $70 was great. And locked in as a promotion ended up to different isp

I have been with econofibre for sometime and have had some issues where I would have no internet access ranging from a day to a few hours. With basically no contact or tech support for a further few hours to days.Recently I have noticed all streaming and online gaming just stop working during the evening between 5pm to 10pm I have tried to get in touch with their support team through their email, website contact page and facebook messenger and have had zero response.I will be switching to a new provider and taking them to disputes tribunal for breaching their contract.

Honestly, whilst these guys are cheap, there are definitely better options out there for the same price. At the completion of my contract with another ISP, I switched to Econofibre because they were the same price, but I didn't have to continue locking myself into a contract. - The downside was, as soon as I switched I had a significant increase in latency, regardless of what server I was using on speedtest.net.Econofibre advised that they would open a job with Chorus, however I never heard anything more on it. - When asked about 4 months later, they said they would advise me once they had heard something. - When I suggested they ask for an update, they just stopped replying to my emails. On top of all this, there service was constantly crashing and there would frequently be periods of 30 minutes or so where I had no connection at all. This week I sent them an email advising that I would switch to another ISP if I hadn't heard back by the end of the week. - I'm just looking at other ISP's now and will switch tomorrow, as I haven't heard anything yet and I'm not holding my breath.UPDATE: - I switched to a new ISP today and my latency has dropped from 40 to 5! Yay! - Turns out it wasn't an issue with Chorus, but was actually an issue with Econofibre.
