Great spot for a walk or a picnic.Lots to do and see here for all ages.The workshops that they run are fantastic, been to a couple now... Highly recommend!Kids playground is really good for a wide range of ages, well decked out with cool play equipment.The BBQ facilities are fantastic, really good to cook on, cleaning materials are provided even!

This is a large and beautiful place. My husband and I got married here many years ago. Our photos were taken in the garden, it was so beautiful and peaceful. There is an awesome little playground with a tower at the far end of the garden with modern bbq areas toilets and kitchen facilities. There is a cosy information center at the top of the garden which also has toilets and kitchen facilities, not to mention, we have gone there in the colder months and there was a beautiful fire going inside to warm up in front of. They put a lot of work into this place and it really shows. We love it here!

My first time to visit the Hollard Gardens. Although, not all flowers have bloomed but the set up was really accommodating. Had a free green tea in their cozy Hollard Centre. Have taken pictures in the childrens playground. One thing that caught my eyes was the Flinstone car and the giant chair. Good for taking photos. Have seen few wild rabbits running around the garden. The place is great for group of friends and family. They have few of the Bbq machine where you can cook and enjoy a meal with friends and family. I believe the place is perfect for wedding photos too, in my opinion.

Such a beautiful garden with plenty to explore for everyone. Playground for the kids, vege garden and bug hotel, beautiful flowers, a special view of our Maunga.

Lovely peaceful gardens, a great playground for kids and a sheltered picnic area.There is also a building for visitors that has free tea, coffee and water.

One of the most pleasing and beautiful gardens we visited on our month long visit to NZ.Built with a lovely ethos, to inform, educate and entertain. Succeeded on every front. Fully recommended these gardens.

Hollard Gardens
Beautiful even in winter,great facilities, tea and coffee free, no charge for the gardens. I spent two days here. Carpark available for self contained vechiles at night, lovely to take your time. Staff were awesome

Hollard Gardens
I'm sitting in the new garden having a bite to eat after exploring the old gardens. This is truly an oasis. Well cared for and such a range of plants and trees. Absolutely beautiful and worth the trip here. The centre is so cute.
