Delicious! Closest thing to real Mexican food that I have found in NZ. That said, portions could be bigger and it could come with chips, salsa, and pico. I would gladly pay more to have these things included.

Great little place with awesome food and fantastic service.There were a couple of things we wanted but they ran out of (popular), but the suggestions that were offered instead were even better! We were told we wouldn't be disappointed and we weren't!Just shows how passionate they are about their food.It's a tiny place which makes dining in interesting, but grab it to go and go for a walk somewhere nice.

I was in search for the most authentic Mexican food in the CBD, I stumbled upon Mr Taco and couldn't be happier. Food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and were lovely to talk to. If you want amazing Mexican food while in Auckland, don't hesitate to stop by here. This will be my go to food spot whenever I'm in Auckland from now on.

i live close by and always grab something for a quick lunch! everything on the menu is delicious and filling, tacos may seem small but one serving of 3 makes me full and service is always super lovely :) definitely stop by here if you’re in the city

This is as authentic Mexican as I've ever had outside Mexico. It was simple and delicious. I wanted to try their tortas, but I chose the cheaper burrito. It wasn't served hot but warm instead just like authentic Mexican food. It wasn't stuffed with random ingredients like often happens at gourmet places here in NZ, but instead, it was stuffed with pork, rice, beans, a little cheese, and type with a little tomato salsa and cilantro. Again, it is simple and delicious.

The tacos were really delicious here and being able to get three different flavours in one order is a definitely a plus. The staff were kind. My only gripe would be the same as many other reviews: the tacos are quite smaller than I expected. Three won't really fill you up at all - but they are tasty.

His food took me on a journey with every bite. Almost brings a tear to your eye once you have a bite knowing how amazingly everything is cooked and put together you can really taste the passion in each bite. The atmosphere in the place is amazing with great music. This must have magical experience I cannot express in words how amazing the food and experience was. Came twice in same weekend and will be a must stop everything I come to Auckland. Thanks my friends and I hope your business prospers for decades to come. You are legend.

My son came across this little eatery by accident. It's probably the best kept secret in Auckland. If you are into Mexican food, you got to try this place.The food is amazing and authentic. The owner is fun to talk to. Overall restaurant atmosphere is funky and my son love it.Recommended to all foodies to give it a try!
