I wanted the operating chain on the other side and it was easy to swap the ends. I had no trouble at all in screwing the brackets in place and fitting the blind, and we are delighted with it. As it was screwed to Aluminium I used my own self tapping screws.

Great experience, easy to order online, just add your dimensions and fabric etc. Only disappointment was I couldn't get the same fabric/colour as previous Sun filter blinds, but nothing The Blind Store could do as it is no longer available in NZ

We had ordered Absolute Black" blinds and received gray blinds. This is apparently not a mistake and the fault was on us for assuming absolute black would be black in colour. See the attached pictures for references on what "Absolute Black" looks like compared with the black hardware that is supplied. I understand in the perfect world people would order colour samples prior but some situations don't allow this. This seems like an easy solution in changing the name of this colour but the response was to put complete blame on the customer."

Terrible experience with this company. I ordered a pure black blind and apparently I shouldn't have assumed it would be black, pure black is grey. Would not recommend. Definitely not possible variation, it is a completely different colour advertised incorrectly.

It was a bit scary ordering these blinds online from my measurements but in hindsight it was easy and they look great. The only thing with the vertical blinds we have an issue with is that the window facing chain at the bottom catches on the ranchslider door frame so we removed the chain, but kept the one facing inside. And we did not take into account the rug that was going to there so the height of the vertical blinds were a bit too long.

Great communication and fast service. And when we got our measurements mixed up, they didn't just say to send it back to them - they suggested trying an local blind specialist as it would cost less. Will definitely be back.

I was worried about measuring myself, but they all fitted perfectly. We did all three bedrooms and the kitchen, timber venetians. The were delivered quickly, easy to assemble and look a million dollars. I recommend 100% engaging with The Blind Store.
