Our go to fish and chip shop in Gisborne. Fresh fish, yummy oysters with super light batter and crispy chips that aren't greasy. Highly recommend YUM!

I went there to order my dinner , they only got one thing wrong in my order but wow for what it was worth my battered fish was yummy and the rest so that's the next best place for a kai I'm going back I liked it.

I gave it a 4 star because although I feel for a fish and chip shop it should deserve a 5, its still just fish and chips.. but great fish and chips, a good amount for your money and pleasant service. It's definitely my go to regardless as to what part of town I'm in when I get a hankering for some greasys

bought fish and chips plus seafood pattie and potato fritterall cooked beautiful, fish was hoki ,a big fillet ,nice amount of chips..very nice..staff were nice.definetly 10/10 value for moneygreat food, thank youwill be back again

An out of towner' looking for something yummy on this miserable evening lol - I was not disappointed.Love love lovvvveeeee the quality of food and service. ph order made and the lady on the ph was so polite!. food was fresh, wrapped well and separated appropriately. love their wedges, chicken burger was the b.o.m.b - love that it had beetroot in it! fish and mussels were fresh also. so impressed that it was eaten before pics were taken - food was ready for pick up in 15mins! thanks team! I am a convert!

Ordered half scoop allspice and steak and egg rollForgot the sauces for chips and gave me a bacon and egg roll. Took it back and was told they can't take it back and that I had to pay for a new one. My household don't eat bacon.

Absolutely excellent fish and chips. Staff were friendly when I walked in and my food was cooked fresh. Batter was the perfect thickness and crunchy. Best I've had in a long time. Will definitely be coming again when I'm in Gisborne.

The cut of the chip was smaller than usual and the pieces of fish were slim also . But everything was very well seasoned and cooked until golden and crunchy. Prices were maybe a little higher than some places but fine, there are a few “ special packs” to choose from as well. We would go again .
