Closed, Don't bother, assumed it was something to do with the war memorial, but isn't.Wellington doesn't seem to have a war memorial exhibition similar to Canberra's. Very disappointing

What a fabulous building from the outside. Although the opening hours indicated it was open today, it was in fact closed. What a terrible shame that it stands empty. I don't know whether this is as a result of us no longer being allowed to know our history (from either perspective) or part of the new left wanting to erase history, but its very sad to see such a magnificent building standing empty.

Nice architecture in a boxy sort of way. Currently housing Great War Exhibition, but cannot say for how much longer. Wouldn't go out of my way to look at the building by itself, but you may as well if you are up that way.

Went up to have some look, nice old building from the outside. Everything seemed locked up,but Facebook says open 24-hour? Didn't see signs anywhere about times or days open. 7th - 9th Wellington tattoo convention.

I think its a darn shame that the Dominion Museum stand empty, without any exhibitions. I would like to hope that an effort would be made to have a National War Memorial similar to that of Canberra and Auckland.Te Papa is just a disgrace and only resembles a feminist paradise of re-writing our history.Ive asked on several occasions why there isn't a permament display of the Governors and Governors General insignia and other paintings at Te Papa to be told 'it is no longer culturally appropriate'.I hope one day we have a National War Memorial, and that the Countries history might be restored inside the Dominion Museum.Sir Peters Exhibitions was Just INCREDIBLE! that would make a good permament display with slight changes in other parts of the museum relevant to WW2, Korea, Vietnam etc etc etc

Good exhibition. The WW1 trench experience not suited to children.
