We rented Ali & Marc's cottage that is listed on VRBO and had the opportunity to meet them. They are very warm and knowledgeable. If you are able to rent the cottage, you are in for a treat. Great location. A lot of attention was put into making a great space for your vacation.

What a wonderful day, Ali and Marc were such warm and welcoming hosts. They put together the perfect day trip through Waimangu, Hamurana springs and Waiotapu mud springs. I highly recommend booking with Little Green Tours.

What an amazing way to get to know and explore Rotorua! Ali and Marc were awesome and tailored an experience to fit my mother and my needs. Highlights of the day were the Redwood forest and canopy walk, the Blue and Green Lakes (Tikitapu and Rotokakahi), Lake Tarawera, admiring the magnificent views of Mt Tarawera and visiting the Buried Village (Te Wairoa) where we explored the excavated sites and learned about the events of 10 June 1886. Wish I could have visited the world-famous Pink and White Terraces. Unfortunately, they were lost during the eruption of 1886!Thanks again Ali and Marc! My mom and I really appreciated all your helpful tips on our drive from Rotorua to Wellington! The local cafe stops were a foodies delight! The only bummer was watching the Seahawks lose in a dive bar in Levin...If I ever find myself in New Zealand again I will definitely book another tour with you two! Anyone one reading my review please do yourself a favor and book a Little Green Tour. You will not be disappointed and it will be a highlight of your trip!

Such a great stay in Kapowai for New Year!Alison & Marc are lovely host who welcomed us with kindness helping to shape our trip to perfection with many suggestions. We left speechless by the beauty of what we visited and did, peaceful treewalks, mountain bike, volcanic valley visit, hot pools relax and enjoyed the lake view from the cottage.We were delighted by our stay, the cottage is spotlessly clean and well equipped, with super comfy superior bedding. Ali and Marc are the people to give you a unique Rotorua experience. They arranged our day - and the evening before - consulting us at every point. We so enjoyed our first time there and that was because of their knowledge, the places they took us, the things we saw. And we stayed in their wonderful lakeside holiday cottage too. The whole experience was just amazing and we feel privileged to count them - now - as new friends! Little Green Tours are the people to go to!!

We had a very special day out with Ali and Marc. They collected us in their Tesla (EV) and drove us to Hamilton. We spent an enjoyable time with them at the amazing Hamilton Gardens and then it was on to the Zealong Tea Estate, for a luxurious High Tea. We felt safe and relaxed with Marc and Ali and it was great to enjoy our country with such knowledgeable and attentive hosts. We would be happy to enjoy another day's outing with them at any time.

Kapowai is a delightfully inviting little cottage with lots of lovely touches, a sunny deck, some nice walks nearby. Alison and Marc are wonderful hosts, who go out of their way to make everything work for their guests. We are happy repeat customers. Kapowai is fully self-contained, which is important to those of us who like to avoid busy public areas and hotels. We could eat in which, on a cold night, we enjoyed doing.The appeal of Kapowai is also its location, an easy three hour drive from Auckland. There is much to do in the winter too: the cold adds much steam and drama to the local geothermal attractions (very much uncrowded). Waikite or Wairakei hot pools are real favorites of ours, especially in the winter.

Wonderfully informative day tour with Little Green Tours! Started the day at Waimangu, with a beautiful walk down to the lake followed by a river cruise where we learnt about the pink and white terraces. We also went to Waiotapu and saw the bubbling mud, before heading to Hamurana Springs. The day was perfectly planned, and Ali and Marc are so friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommended!!

Ali and Marc took us from Auckland to Rotorura on a private transfer last week and it was a fun and informative drive. We stopped at a local cheese store and picked up some amazing cheeses for our stay at Rotorua. Due to weather, we were unable to visit Hamurana Springs as it was closed due to safety but Ali and Marc took us to Blue Springs on the way which was a beauty!I get car sick relatively easily so was a bit worried about the three hour transfer but it was super smooth and I learned so much about the area and culture during the trip. Thank you Ali and Marc!

During planning of our round trip to New Zealand we found Little Green Tours and it just looked amazing what Ali and Marc could offer. We decided to contact LGT and had video calls during which we talked about our wishes and what LGT could offer, and after this there was no doubt that LGT should arrange something special for us.We have never tried more enthustiastic guides, and everything was planned as expected and even when we were going to Rotorua a lot of recommendations were sent to us and we booked LGT to arrange and book several things to see before we arrived in their cottage in Rotorua. Ali and Marc are just the couple that you have confidence in and they have a lot of knowlegde about the Mauri and the area around Rotorua.We can highly recommend LGT to everyone who will have an experience that is more than just a normal" guided tour.If we wil have the chance to travel to New Zealand again
