island chop suey" was off and old. they did give a refund. now I was raised in south wellington our island chop suey has garlic and ginger with lots of flavor

Bought egg foo young and chips.The egg foo young was tasteless packed with onions in fact was more like onion foo young, the amount of liquid at the bottom of the container was awful. Managed to find one very tiny bit of beef. I will not be going back. Chips were hot.

I come here often with my friends, family and even myself. I love the food here, especially the chips! Which they are for such a great price (considering the prices these days) with 1 scoop being $4.50 - I think this is very affordable. You can ask for extra seasoning and they will put some extra chicken salt.And after you go there a few times the servers/cooks also start to remember your order - if you get the same order when you go there.Thanks for being my top choice for a fish and chip place in porirua cbd and having wonderful food and service..

Go here all the time for there fish. They have some of the nicest fish in Wellington, I even travel out from the CBD to grab some. Fish is so soft and moist and is seasoned perfectly it comes apart so easily. Chips are also perfectly cooked, great food keep it up

Very light on meat, my husband came home and asked why I ordered vegetarian dishes. The chicken and cashews with celery was more like celery with chicken and cashews, all the dishes tasted too sweet, however the fried rice was very nice but only had a few bits of meat in it. Quite disappointed tbh

Their packs are the best in nz. $10 for 3 fish, hotdog and 3/4 chips. $8 fish, spring roll, hotdog, crabstick and 3/4 chips.The fish is good size and always delicious, moist but not rubbish cod.Lovley people too.

Had the Mussels and Chips box as well as the Thigh and Chips box, with a can of Coke. REALLY fresh, no big wait at all. Tasty chips, omg - so tasty and hot. I’ll probably grab something else with chips next time I go, just to try whatever else they have. Yum yum.
