Wass' Barbers - Rolleston

It was an absolute pleasure to have the man himself, Wasseim, cut my hair. His clear passion and skill when it comes to his craft clearly carries over to how he represents his business—it was refreshing to see a man with a level of passion and care rarely seen, regardless of industry, at work. I walked away with a fantastic haircut (taken from a photograph and expertly altered to suit the shape of my head). Furthermore, he organised to come back through the week and leave some books for me to look at—an arrangement that came about because of his convivial nature and sharing spirit. As someone who has been somewhat haircut averse throughout their life, it is an absolute testament to Wass (and the rest of the team, shout-out Ahmed!) that I continue to come back and even look forward to my next cut.

We have been taking our older toddler here for a while now. Yesterday I took in our youngest, who is almost 2. Hates hair cuts. Hates noise. Wass was amazing, finally managed to get him a real cut, and my son left very happy and proud of himself. Price is great.

Not an enjoyable experience and one I wouldn’t repeat. Went on Sunday as as my normal hair cut place was closed, the sole guy working was an friendly and would not even speak, he was on his phone while doing a very basic clipper cut which could of been done at hime.No people skills at all. Would not recommend at all. Stick to Rolleston Haircuts were the staff are friendly and have people skills, and do great haircuts at half the price.

Best barbers in town! We used to go to Ahmed in Riccarton but since he moved to Rolleston we come all the way here for Ahmed , he is the best ! Accurate, precise and delicate , fantastic job ! Always coming back !

Cut my sons hair like he was a butcher, worst barber in new zealand and could not go any shorter when we wanted it very short and a fade and this is the result, would not have paid if i was with my family at the time. Also, made a mess of mine and my brothers hair another time as well

Very rushed and over priced charged 40 dollars didn’t listen to what I wanted uneven haircut and was very impatient.Gave me a bowl cut on my fringe very disappointed please go somewhere else. Mum does a better job. Your better off buying a hat

Wass Barbers Rolleston - brought my son in with his shaggy long hair showed a photo of the Viking type cut he wanted and Zac got cracking - my boy loved the results and the fade and Zac made my boy feel comfortable and very happy with the haircut. Cost was $25 but I paid $35 as he did such a great job and it was a new style felt it was worth that much :) we will be back

My son has wanted to go here for a long time (Rolleston one). Zak was awesome and was joking with my son and made the experience fun. My son is very happy with his haircut and we will be back!
