We did the double quad bike and had a great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and made it really fun. Loved that they took photos of us, including action shots, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our phones. Definitely worth the money and would recommend to others.

This is great tour to do in Franz Josef, the guides are knowledgeable and the scenery is stunning! If you are after a little bit of adventure this should be a must do tour on anyone's trip.

Franz Josef Wilderness Tours
We had a really enjoyable and fun experience on our quad bike/buggy tour. Our tour guides were fantastic and explained things well and were very organised and safety conscious. They also took lots of great photos. We were sorted into two different groups with each group going at a different pace which worked well. I drove a buggy with my kids as passengers (aged 9 and 12) and my husband rode a quad bike and the variety of terrain and scenery was spectacular. We all agreed it was one of the highlights of our two week South Island trip.

Loved every minute! The guides were super patient with everyone - some with experience and some without. The scenery was gorgeous and the tour provided a lovely taste of what the area has to offer: old growth rainforest, glacier riverbeds and stunning views of the southern alps.

Franz Josef Wilderness Tours
Did the daytime lake kayaking trip with Franz Josef Wilderness Tours. We were in double kayaks part of a group of 10 people accompanied by 2 guides. The scenery was amazing. The guides were so nice, told fun interesting facts and stories along the way. The photos they took and provided to us afterwards by email for free were very professional and you usually have to pay for these extras but not on this tour they were included. Thanks to Cameron and Jacob for a very memorable morning on the lake.

Franz Josef Wilderness Tours
We did the boat cruise and nature walk with Joe a couple of weeks ago. It was an all-round fantastic experience from the moment Joe met us until he dropped us off. We loved learning about the local area and especially loved the nature walk. My 5 year old is a nature lover and Joe was amazing with her, answering questions and chatting to her along the way. We were impressed to learn of the conservation efforts and really enjoyed our time. Many thanks Joe!

Did a quad bike tour with guide Nick, best quad bike tour ever, no where else you can quad bike through rain forest and glaciers river bed at the same time. Nick is an awesome guide, patience and articulate, awesome photographer as well, 5 stars hands down. The sales guy is also very helpful and patient, good tour company.

The tour was amazing!From rainforest tracks to riverbed runs! Absolute blast! The lads that were our guides didn't mind opening the throttle when it was safe to do do and definitely encouraged us to have fun but kept it safe and professional the whole time!!If you're looking for a thrill that doesn't involve jumping out of a plane this is definitely for you!! Couldn't recommend it enough!!

An amazing tour!! We did a small lake kayak with Ariel and we took our 2yo daughter out on the water for the first time. Ariel's knowledge of the area and flora and fauna was super impressive. He was so passionate and it made us so excited and happy to have chosen to do this tour. Super special!! Thanks guys
