Amazing! Nicky's assistance has been invaluable in helping us navigate the various options, pathways, pitfalls and hidden obstacles en route to pain free entry to university in 2024. Our year 13 young adult was overwhelmed with information and choices and we (her family) don't know enough about NCEA, the various degree programs and universities to provide our school leaver with confident advice. Nicky has a way with students which is friendly and calm yet honest and up front. She really clarifies the pathways and suggests goals to achieve in year 13 to get the student where they want to be career and/or study wise. Our school leaver isn't 100% sure what career is for her (what 17 year old does?) so Nicky has helped her decide on a flexible yet psychology-focused Arts degree which will allow her to study what she loves, yet to try new subjects, new ideas. And Nicky has helped explain in young adult language that a broad based" study program won't disadvantage her in her pursuit of any career. Our school-leaverreally gets it now.Thank you so much Nicky for all your wonderful help. We'd have found the road to university much more difficult without you. And we now have a 2023 school leaver confident in her university and degree choices and so very excited about leaving home for the big wide university world."
