The worst service of any hosting company I have worked with.They deploy breaking changes that impact how your conducting your business without notice and do the bare minimum when you request support, not really solving your problems and shuttling you around.If you ask for a refund as you no longer want to use their service expect to be told they can’t because of some technical reason.I would never recommend their services to anyone.And your sites will be slow - even for nz connections.

Since taken over by Crazydomains this service is absolutely disgusting. When you finally reach help itis directed to crazy domains who blame openhost who you can't reach cause it goes back to crazy. When they say they are going to do something to fix the issue THEY FAIL to follow through...everytime. mean while no web or email working..and all they say is we are sorry for the inconvenience.Use open host or crazy domains at your peril....

Absolutely incompetent service. We were merged (by force) from WebDrive and it's been nothing but problems since then. To add insult to injury they have stopped responding to our support requests. Avoid these guys at all costs!Edit: They've Resolved" it without actually resolving the problems..."

Recently openhost was acquired by crazy domains (no communication about this to the clients or option to opt out) and during this transition no f#$% given to customers. I have been chasing up both companies since 3 days. Our website is down, new website is delayed launching and we cannot access our account.All our account details have been disabled and correct information has not been passed on to crazy domains.This is not the first time it has happened.I wana move my services else where and they won't let me!!!I wish I could give you a negative score.Fix it or I get consumer court involved.

Openhost charged my credit card for a service that I had cancelled. I notified them the day after I saw the charge and they said they can't do credit card refunds. I can't say enough about how bad the service is from them and will be moving my business away from them as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I have also experienced the swap over from Openhost to Crazy Domain.I am being invoiced by both Crazy Domain and Openhost. Although I do not want to contact Openhost I advise them that for the second account I have already paid Crazy Domain.I have advised that I do not want any contact from them.Therefore, I have received 7 harassing emails from their Accounts Services Specialist.After again requesting that they stop contacting us the last email received signs off with '....we hope to hear from you soon'.

Regrettably I must concur with other 1 star reviews. As a Domain-Agent reseller we have encountered significant issues since Webdrive was acquired by Openhost. The Openhost reseller portal UI and customer control panel UX is a complete nightmare. Many essential functions are either absent or fundamentally flawed. I've invested 100's of hours to resolve issues that should be easy to manage and have endured ongoing billing errors leaving me out of pocket. It's a clusterf--k that I'm only persevering with due to the pending migration to Crazy Domains. This cannot come soon enough. The only positive comment I will say is that Openhost support agents are generally very helpful and provide excellent service on a case by case basis. The inadequate management portal (and the poorly implemented Webdrive migration) has been the real let down and the cause of 99% of issues encountered.

Since moving my website to Openhost in Feb, its been a nightmare. Really slow server response, regularly completely unresponsive, and barely useable. The final nail in the coffin was the day after they announce being sold to crazy domains, my site went down and never came back up. I wasted no time in abandoning the sinking ship and moved to Nixihost, and have zero regrets. The exact same website, migrated over to a similar plan, and the responsiveness and speed is incredible in comparison. Wish I never wasted my money, but i'll take it as a lesson. Avoid like the plague.

Support service was excellent 2~3 years ago that's why I host all my clients website in their platform but now the service is terrible.Normally my hosting issues can be resolve immediately via phone call or they show positive attitude to resolve it swiftly but now they just keep on telling me to drop an email and they will return back.I have one case where the site has been setup but it is very slow and I am getting 502 gateway. Instead of reviewing it, they erased my setup and did a fresh install.I am done with this hosting provider. Not planning to renew my hosting plans with them. I even wrote a blog about the Openhost on how good their support service is and confidently informing my clients that this hosting provider has excellent support service. Now I lost my faith with them.

Hi all,Please check your account with them if the auto-renewal option is enabled or not. I have 3 three domains linked to my account, 2 of them were not in use for a long time, and I didn't need them. Once you connected a domain with them, they activate the auto-renewal option, which charges you even without your consent. That's what happened to me, and they charged me $ 45 for a renewal without my permission. Upon my request, they declined to reverse money back, advising that this auto-renewal option had to disabled by myself.Total misunderstanding of customer care and professionalism. Better leave them.
