Great pub with a simple but good menu. We both had burgers- my chicken one was great but my husband’s Cape Burger that came with everything including a ribeye steak was sensational. Fries were cooked beautifully.A wee gem!

Cute little pub/restaurant, good service. Wait staff was very nice and the food was good. I ordered the Fisherman's Basket and loved being able to try different seafood options

Great atmosphere and helpful staff . Steak and eggs cooked to perfection , congrats to the cook Criss. DOG friendly must be on a leash but they were really relaxed about that . Stayed the night in there car park and the next night stayed right on the shore front down Domain rd .

Ezra is a very good young chef. Everything was absolutely delicious and the steak was one of the best I've had in ages, cooked to perfection and so juicy. Highly recommend.

We had dinner with scallops and a mixed grill plate. The place was a bit cold and the wood bench not too comfortable. Anyway food was good and Service was fantastic.

We really enjoyed this spot. Reservations were needed, at least when we visited due to how busy they are,so make sure to call and bookahead if possible. There are some spots outside that seemed to not require a reservation, but the warmer and less windy seats were inside.We ordered the Ribeye steak, Ham Steak, and the Nachos. All of them were very good. The ribeye was cooked a bit more than I felt matched our order, however I will say that they were excellent and we didn't mind at all.There was a good selection of beers on draft, and more options bottled.We had a great experience here,and will likely come back next time we pass through.

Stopped by for a beer. Needs a bit of money spent to brighten/modernize the main bar area. Didn't try the meals but they didn't appear too appetizing. Alright for a stop for a beer on a hot day, but colour and decor inside is pretty old.

Really good food - had one of the best meals while travelling through NZ. Fish, chips and finally - a good size of side salad. A balanced portion, good value. At the evening time it seems to be one of the favourite pubs for locals, and the atmosphere is really chilled and friendly here. Loved the fireplace and the doggo.
