We had a wonderful stay at Te Rakau. Our group of four were doing the Remutaka rail trail, and we spent New Year’s Eve at the Bunkhouse and the Te Rakau cabins. It was an incredible place, with abundant native bird life, friendly animals, campfire, outdoor bath and so many stars!Dougal and Denise are wonderful hosts and will be back for sure.
