Nice course, great fast greens

Nice course but a real shame about the guy behind the counter at the pro shop. Booked a round with two of my friends who are just getting into golf. Had booked a cart and he told us that 3 of us would be OK in one cart and that we could share two sets of clubs between three of us (he was quite pleasant at this point). Whilst waiting on first tee for the group in front to get far enough ahead before we could tee off he proceeded to come and stand behind the tee box and tell me I wasn't allowed to coach or give tips to my friends whilst on the course (i'm a single digit handicapper and was giving my friends some tips) and to hurry up and make sure we kept up with the group in front. He said my friends should be on the driving range and not on the course if they haven't had much experience (how else are you supposed to learn golf without going on the course??). This really rattled my friends and made them feel very unwelcome. We then proceeded to play 18 holes and be held up on every tee box for several groups in front! Really disappointed in the way this guy treated us and not great for trying to grow the sport.

Top course on the outskirts of Christchurch... Greens were the best I've played on for a long long time.. Well worth a visit for 40 bucks..

Phenomenally kept course, although it would have been nice to have clumps of clippings removed from the greens. Long course with plenty of trees to find your ball in, might pay to consider a cart of you're not up for the walk. Nice bar for afterwards, and I used the showers which are very good

Good value 18 hole course frount 9 challenging and back 9 a little easyer greens and fairways A+ need a good wedge game in ya bag good luck

Relaxing course with well maintained greens

Golf was poor but the course was great and the beer was too.
