Very lovely atmosphere and food is superb as always. Love the seafood chowder which has been a long time favourite of The Deli. A touch of health giving Tumeric to change it up. Coffee was devine and hot, great for a cool winters day. Well done to the team.

Bought a chicken and pasta pie meal. X 2. It was not good. Pasta was rock hard . Chicken dry and tasteless. Decor hideous with last year's Christmas decorations still up. Used to be good, but not anymore. Won't be going back. Don't waste your money. Should have gone across the road for a better experience.

Sadly not a great overall experience today. Mum had the salmon bagel, delicious thanks! I wanted the Thai Pumpkin Soup, not available, none left so went for the seafood chowder. Very underwhelming and disappointed. But what was more disappointing, a couple who came in well after us was served pumpkin soup. Decided to to mention my disappointment to waitress who grabbed the manager. I explained the above reiterating very disappointed in the chowder and was told there was a miscommunication in the kitchen. These things happen but I suggested I get my money back for the chowder but got no response and she walked away. I ate a little less than half. We waited a little to see if she came back with anything....no...we left. Been coming here for years, sorry won't be back.

Updated for 2023, steak sandwich (from the lunch menu) is delicious. Yummy breakfasts are until 11:30am and great coffee. Consistently good food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, lovely staff. Beautiful place to eat with both indoor and outdoor dining. Highly recommended if you will look for a nice place to eat in Greytown.

Located in a lovely old timber building right on Greytown’s main street (as you’d expect from the café’s name!) this is a great place to stop for a snack on your way to points north or for a break during a shopping spree.You can choose to sit at a wrought iron table out on the footpath, find a corner inside the building, or relax in the shady courtyard out the back.I can confirm that the Eggs Benedict at the Main Street Deli are absolutely spectacular. The coffee, too, is very, very good.

It's quite expensive for what you get. We had 2 big breakfasts ($28 each) and eggs Bennidict ($24) $7 glass of apple juice. The cook on the eggs was inconsistent. Mine were well over cooked, my sons were perfect, and my husband's one was good one wasn't. The baked beans with the big breakfast were delicious, though. The coffee was warm, not hot. Probably wouldn't go back too expensive.

Made a booking for us and our out of town guests for lunch. Arrived at the Cafe and it was closed with no explanation on the window and no courtesy call to my cellphone number - which I had left at the time of booking.After several phone calls and messages for the manager, finally spoke to her. Sorry" was only thing I got. Yes we should have contacted you somehow but sorry we didn't.Hopeless customer service with a very don't really give too much of a toss attitude.Nowhere good enough!!"

Lovely café and very friendly, helpful staff. I enjoyed eggs in toast for breakfast and was given a little jug of olive oil to replace the butter. There was not a lot of dairy free options in the delicious array of counter food, but they offered to prepare something.
