So tasty, one of the best curries I've had for ages... onion bhaji and vege samosas for starters, we also had paneer makhani, paneer lababdar, and chicken chettinad. Yummo

Don't let the simple decor put you off! We were so happy with our dinner here tonight! Generous portions, delicious Currys and polite professional staff! The Naan was the best we have ever had, and the Currys were up there too! Check it out! You wont be disappointed Really great place to eat x

On entrance seemed pretty basic, I tried a few starters fish bites and tandoori chicken the starters came out a few minutes after ordering and they tasted amazing and were even better with the dips. I ordered a Kema Nann and mild butter chicken my companion ordered a hot lamb sag. OMG was the sag hot I could smell the Chilli in it. If you want amazing tasting Indian food at next level heat then eat here, even my Kema Nann was too hot for me. Prices are low to medium.

Simple Place with GOOD food. Very good and quick service.Worth trying - Paneer Corn spring rolls, and Paneer Chily. They seem to make Paneer in-house, the Paneer was very tender in both dishes. My son enjoyed the Chicken Tikka a lot.Serving Size was also good for all dishes. Everything seemed Fresh!

Lucky dhaba has quickly become our new favourite Indian restaurant in Lower Hutt. I don't usually write reviews, but I thought I should make an exception for this restaurant. It is an unassuming , small, no-frills kind of establishment with good honest Indian food that tastes amazing. This restaurant is one among a very rare breed of restaurants in Wellington that captures the authentic Dhaba taste ! Staff are friendly & polite, great location and above all, wonderful authentic north Indian (Dhaba style) food. It is not a fancy establishment.However, if you are looking for good north Indian food in Wellington, this is definitely worth many visits ! We have visited it thrice by now, and ordered different dishes every time, and have been impressed each time. Kudos to the Chef !

This place has good reviews for a reason! Don’t be fooled by the simple tables and atmosphere, the food was the best I’ve had. Staff are friendly and kind. Onion bhaji not to be missed! All the curries we ordered were very tasty. If I lived in Wellington I would come here all the time!

The food was average when I tried this restaurant 1st time in 2022 but from last few months we have became regular customers here as it’s been a very good experience since I tried the food 2nd time. All paneer curries are delicious. Chole taste can be improved.
