Auch wenn die Grünfläche als Park ausgewiesen wird, ist er als Sportplatz (hauptsächlich Cricket) ausgelegt. Zwischendurch kann man an schönen Tagen auch Studenten dort auf dem Rasen liegen. Hunde sollen nicht drauf, allerdings halten sich manche leider nicht dran.

Right by the Botanical gardens . Big area of well mown grass that lots of people go onto . Kicking or hitting various sized balls around , whilst yelling and shouting at each other . They look to me like they really enjoy it.

Excellent park for yoga & a spot of cricket. The park will be the venue for the Fat Boy Slim Concert soon. Fat Boy Slim will be a great gig. Parking in area will be limited. I would advise going on foot or uber for the event. Thanks Charles, CJ's Junk Removal Service, Wellington.
