The Runway Cafe
This place is something quite special, with the big old AW 660 Argosy aircraft parked in the grounds. Better still you can go aboard the plane and have a look around after you have enjoyed the great food and especially friendly staff. Reading this back, it sounds like an add, never mind, give the place a try and you will find it is all true. Ask the owners about the simulated flights around the world, sounds like good fun.

Coffe was good. To many waitresses and no one was smiling. They seems like they are very bored. Although nice place and food on other tables looks very good

Decided to stop for morning tea at RunwayCafe will never stop there again $7.00 each for toasted sandwich wit slither of cheese and a hint of onion and thin bread. and to TOP IT OF WAS BURNT. Know wonder why so many Cafes. are closing down when you are served food like this

Had a breakfast on the way to Picton. First thing that caught my attention was the big aeroplane standing outside.The service was quick, the staff friendly and the food was great value. The portions just the right size.

If you have time to kill at the airport outside of Blenheim, I recommend this amazing establishment. I walked here after returning my rental car early. It's adorable and they have gourmet coffee and treats. They also have a neat, historic plane museum parked in the back you can visit. It was an amazing and relaxing way to end my New Zealand stay. Friendly staff and high quality place. Thanks!

Fantastic coffee - a bonus that they use Oaklands milk. Amazing selection of slices, scones and other foods. Lots of gluten free options. Ginger crunch is the best! Highly recommend

Arrived just before kitchen closed so had the chicken panini and beef croquette from the counter, along with roast vege salad.Moderately expensive and the coffee was good, but wow, the food was terrific. And climbing into the pilots seat of the Argosy parked outside - how good is that? Take your time and watch the onboard video, its very informative. Will definitely be back. Thanks!
