Decent hike. Took me 1.5 hours to complete it. Great view of the town from the top. Carry water.

It pretty looks like a huge construction area... But during your walk you will have an gorgeous view over Gisborne. After a rain it was very, very muddy. So good hiking boots are recommended.

A decent doc walk close to town with beautiful views over the town & farm animals to walk past. It’s worth running it too if that’s your cup of tea - solid amount of elevation.

Stunning views, Clearly marked walk ways, Newly updated stairways, Picknic table with beautiful views of Gizzy at the very top! Terrain is great, just grab good trail shoes. Definitely recommends this walk way to anyone loving the outdoors.

Easy walk. Great views. A fun 2 hr walk in the weekend when you feel like catching a bit of fresh air. The tracks are well marked and fairly easy navigating through the walkway.

Breathtaking views from the top but don’t underestimate the incline. Firstly getting there: Google Maps is wrong; the car park is at the end of Shelley Road and not Dryden St. Shelley Rd is unsealed and only wide enough for 1 car so take care. I did the anti-clockwise loop and took 2 hours. Would rather the clockwise loop though because the steepest part was at least under tree shade. The rest of the walk was open farmland mountain side with long stretches of open area. Lots of muddy slippery patches even though it hadn’t rained in days. Google Maps shows an incorrect path alignment; follow the yellow markers along the trail for the correct one. Too many confusing crossing paths with very little wayfinding signs

It's an amazing farm. Owners are nice and let us feel free to walk there. The hike takes around 2h to go and come back and you can appreciate a beautiful view in the top.

Stunning walk through farmlands with views of the whole bay. THE ACCESS TO THIS TRACK IS FROM THE END OF THE SHELLEY ROAD, NOT DRYDEN STREET!! :)
