Guthrie Bowron

Bad experience, never recommend such a service. We went to order and then to buy curtains. We call after 1 week to see the answer even they promised that we'll receive a phone call after 3 days.As soon as they heard we own a 6 m high ceiling house and of course they noticed a different accent, all of a sudden, nothing was available for us anymore: not that particular model, not that colour, not that pattern, in one word, not for us. Why would they keep the sample in this situation???It is obviously that lady working at Guthrie Bowron cannot take an order from an emigrant.I am wondering what the supplier will say for loosing such a big order.Shame for Guthrie Bowron Nelson !!!

Very unpleasant woman (shop assistant) was trying to assist me with curtains today, very hard to talk to, made me feel unwelcome and unwilling ever come back again. Please make sure your staff trained properly the customer service are awful :(

Went to look at wallpaper and curtain fabric to purchase and the staff were more interested in their cup of tea.Got a strong feeling they thought I was a tyre kicker or couldn't afford the paper I liked.Service is where it's at ladies.

Nelson staff makes renovating easy.. They give fantastic professional advice and service we wouldn't go anywhere else

I visited this store to look at sale curtain samples and was spoken to very rudely by the women shop assistant. Her parting comment was ' your hard to please' !!!

Great customer service and knowledge of the products being sold is crucial when being a sales assistant, and the woman who helped my partner and I on this visit had this all in the bag (I believe her name was Fran). Turned an overwhelming time of new curtains in to a pleasurable experience with Fran as our navigator. Many other assistants in general should take a leaf out of her book!

With paint supplies, carpet and fabric, Guthrie Bowron is just about a one stop shop! The service is welcoming and friendly, happy to offer assistance or just let you browse for inspiration. Infact there is a bakery a couple of doors down, stock up on supplies and lunch at the same time.. One stop shop!

Great team, friendly and very knowledgeable. They are quick to help or greet you. And will find a solution If things haven't quite gone to plan as I found out, I had a diy fumble as such and the team helped me out with ideas and solutions to sort it. Every time I go to that store I feel like I have achieved what I was hoping for when I leave and get the impression that is exactly there aim.My daughter was also happy with there kids corner that is conveniently located center of the store which is very handy if you have kiddos in toe. I will keep going here from now on there awesome even gave the kid a little Dulux toy gift. It totally made here day!

There's always a friendly warm welcome.they certainly provide lots of inspirational options for every project.carpet curtains,vinyl wallpaper, blinds and paint it's got the lot.
