Had a great day hiring Bob's Merida ebikes to ride from Kaiaua to the Robert Findlay reserve and back to Kaiaua for some lunch. My wife really enjoyed the new Merida 400 step-through, super smooth through the gears and had more than enough power for this trail. We had plenty of battery left after a 4-hour hire. Look forward to going back and doing the longer trail towards Thames when its open.

Wow, what a phenomenal experience. We did a four-day bike tour from Kaiaua to Matamata. The bikes were fantastic, and the advice and recommendations were great. If you’re looking at doing a bike ride, we recommend you do the whole trip. It would be great for all bike riders from beginners to advanced as the electric bikes make it a really enjoyable experience. 5 stars! Thank you, from Rob Piano & Phil Andaloro.

Great day out riding the Karangahake Gorge part of the Hauraki Rail Trail as well as a 30 minute bike up the coast from Kaiaua. The e-bikes were brand new and the team made sure the whole hire process was seamless.

Enjoyed four hours on the brand new bikes. Really friendly service from Bob who explained the super easy operation of the bikes, where to go for shorebird viewing and lunch at a Cafe with great views. After not being on a bike for years, and never on an ebike, I was a bit apprehensive, but it's true, you never forget how to ride a bike. We're definitely coming back for an even more adventurous ride along this trail in spectacular scenery. I can't recommend this experience more highly.

A recently open store at a great location, i.e. one of the starting points for the hauraki rail trail. Bike was in great condition (new). They also have e-bikes. Bob the owner was extremely nice - easy to schedule bike pick-up and drop-off with and he gave helpful advice on sites along the trail worth visiting. He also contacted the local park ranger for us to check if the nearby camp site we were planning to stay at is open (it was despite Google saying it was temporarily closed). Highly recommended!

we did half a day trip from Kaiaua along the coast to Miranda, stopped in at the shorebird museum and then the hides. Birds everywhere! Miranda Cafe up the hill was easy to access with the e-bikes and the well worth the detour. We hired 2 size of ebikes (S & L), both very comfortable.Thanks Bob for an excellent service, we will be back to try the longer trail!
