What a dive! Walk in and and greet the assistant, doesn't bother to acknowledge me, too busy on her phone to care. Flies everywhere and shelves are lined with dust. I pay for my drink, say thanks and she doesn't even reply back, just back on her phone.Shoot me first before I step foot in that shop again.

Only shop in Waitoa. One stop shop. Chips and takeaways available but not all the time. Owners are really great and friendly hence the 5 star.

The one shop in a one shop town. Has one each of most of the things you might need in an emergency, without an enormous mark-up over what you'd find at a supermarket in town.Not much to look at from the street, a few years ago it had windows but now it is boarded up and repainted every time it gets graffitied. Not much better inside. The family who own it are friendly without being too enthusiastic.
