As a Thai person who have been living in Auckland for a long time, eating at Marew made me feel like i was back in Thailand eating authentic thai food again. My favorite dishes are the green curry and padthai.

Pad tai tasty enough but Tai green chicken curry(for the 2nd time) too many vegetables and scarcely enough chicken and way too many carrots cut like chips. Tai green curry knocked into 2nd place by an absolutely superb Tai green curry we had for lunch at a pub in Waiwera last week and a little underwhelming. Not a bad meal but not in a hurry to go back again.

I come here a little bit too much, this place is amazing and I can’t get enough. The lunchtime special is an absolute deal and we have always had a pleasant dine in experience. Love this place and would recommend to everyone :)

Ordered Pad Thai with peanut sauce for lunch.The good: Atmosphere - the place is clean with quiet jazz music playingin the background. Lighting and decoration is also good for asmall takeaway place.Price - the food is very cheap, with decent portion sizes.Service- Waited about 5 mins for food to arrive.The bad: Mainly the quality of the food. The peanut sauce didn't usegood peanut butter. The food was not too salty, but my tummyfelt bad after eating, even so I only ate about 75% of my plate sodidn't stuff myself. I believe this is from the excessive amountof cheap oil used, and the meat had a rubbery texture.Overall the experience was ok, but as I really enjoy eating I would rather pay a bit more elsewhere for better quality food.

Delicious, fresh and so well priced. We had Singapore noodles and ginger stir fry and were both full! Nicely presented, lovely staff and pretty place. And both very different flavours and textures ... definitely hand made fresh not just a sauce.Our new local fav

An absolute disgusting experience, ordered Beef Curry, they bring me a freezing cold plate - really??? you don't put salad on a heated plate, do you! The curry arrives, more like a very watery soup, beef is tough like an old gumboot, onions not cooked properly, potato not cooked properly, really disappointing. I have traveled to Thailand more than 30 times, I know my Thai food, this place is not Authentic Thai" at all! They said sorry

The thin rice noodles, stir-fried with bean sprouts, egg, and tofu, and topped with crushed peanuts, left something to be desired. The tofu was so minimal, you could hardly notice it. We opted for the beef variant, which was alarmingly thin. It seemed as if there were only about 50 grams each of beef and tofu present in the dish.The overall flavor was bland and the texture gluggy. However, the red curry stood out positively. I strongly encourage you to refine your more diverse recipes. I hope this candid review serves to improve your quality.

Ordered a thai vegetable salad for takeaway and it is so good! This is my favourite thai restaurant as their flavours and food are very authentic and aromatic! Staff are very friendly, helpful and their service is 100% great.Thank you Ma rew thai! Love your food and lunch specials

I have order mince chicken with basil leave with an extra fried egg on top and the Pad Thai the food is so good and tasty . Feel like going home omg Thai Taste.
