Great customer service However mussels were so small smelt off, paua was very undersized I dont know how fish markets are able to sell paua undersized ?

I went to this shop twice while visiting Dunedin this week. The first time I bought the Elephant fish - I asked the girl what was the best fish for our tastes and she recommended that one to me. I was blown away to see she wrapped it up in grease proof paper then in newsprint. What a treat that is for me as I am so over all this plastic rubbish that keeps being put on food. The fish was delicious. We went back 2 days later and got more Elephant fish and 4 of your salmon cakes. All very nice. The staff were very helpful both times and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this shop. They even have parking like a drive in.

Really disappointed about this place.Especially after ordering $100 of shellfish (mix of mussels, scallops, tua tua and clams) for Christmas. When I arrived, the shellfish where already packed in plastic bags, and only at home I discovered that half of them were dead and needed to be thrown away.I never get an answer to my email or a call returned, people at the counter can't engage and discuss complaint.Dunedin really miss a good place for seafood lovers.

I have been buying our fresh fish from this place. I give 5 stars for the quality of seafood available. This would be the first shop I'd go for seafood. There is a space for parking two vehicles just right out the shop door. The sales staff in front need to lighten up a bit. It is very difficult for the ladies to give a little smile. I know it is a smelly job, but I use to do exactly the same job but never treated our customers with a disdain look. The customer service needs a lot of improvement.

Customer service from short haired girl is nasty. Always looks like she does not want to be there. Giving 3 star due to good service from rest of the staff, and having decent seafood. I wouldn't say I recommend though.

Great selection of seafood.Unfortunately I personally found it quite pricey and I can get some things considerably cheaper elsewhere. Salmon wings were over salted for my taste. However it was well run with friendly staff and had a great selection of fresh or frozen product.

We order online from Christchurch because we have found their service and product to be better than what we can buy here. Totally recommend them to anyone who loves great fresh seafood of any kind. Staff are excellent. Also looks like they support the little guys not the richlister seafood companies.
