The last of the family camping grounds truly a magnificent area and a great well run camp, plenty to do, fishing whitebaiting, walks ,biking, sunsets are brillant.you have to go and experience real orginal camping ground.,

Not open for eats, ad it is winter, but we have been freely given the voice of where to park the caravan, wood fired pizza oven, fire pit, washing machine and showers.. parked about as close to the sea as you can get enjoying it... Will be back..

Best place in the world definitely recommend coming, there's pizza ovens ,fish n chips, and the walks and views are worth the travel.

Check yourself in any time of day. Staff attend 9-10am to take payments but are also there at other times depending upon the season.Camping sites have no power but they have a range on rooms, cabins and houses for hire. All accommodation is close to the sea with both sandy and rocky beaches.We like the isolation 3km from the main road. Fantails flit around as when we walk outside. Pukeko, Paradise Duck, terns and other sea birds are also nearby. The roar of the crashing surf and the clear night sky are our companions at night.
