There has been multiple occasions where this company has charged me a late fee but I check my bank account and there’s more than enough to cover the costs. This is outrageous and needs to be solved on your end. I try to call but can never get through. I’m not using this service by choice, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to. With the amount of one star reviews, I’m surprised that people are still using your systems.

So disgusted in this company. It’s currently linked through my childcare so I don’t have an option to go through them or not, the normal debit was taken out of my account and then randomly reversed back into my account. Contacted debit success who said it’s not their issue I had insufficient funds (I literally have more than enough funds) and kept trying to explain this to the lady, she kept telling me to call the bank and tell the bank they need to assist me because it’s their problem and they won’t waive the late payment fee because it’s my banks issue not theirs, I kept having to repeat myself because she was making me sound like I had no idea what I was talking about and kept saying ‘’it’s not my fault your bank has insufficient funds’’ I have screenshot proof of everything (the money coming out, going back in, the balance of my account etc) and she was still not willing to assist me AT all. I hung up the phone call and obviously called my bank like she told me to do and of course they’ve also said ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM. This company doesn’t like to take accountability , money hungry grubs.

I have tried to end my WorldGym membership even though my actual contract finished months earlier.Even with giving the 1month notice period" ....Turns out the Gym just completes a "Request to Cancel form" . Its not actually cancelling your gym membership or direct debit set up. It took another week for World Gym to actually "process a paper form"

This company is a scam. Do not go to any gyms that use these scammers. They ripped me off multiple times with $10 fees every time a payment failed on their end, and would not refund. I was signed up with good life and they are terrible, taking out payments earlier/later than they said and blamed this company for every unauthorised fee they charged me. I was even called multiple times by very rude customer service from debit success, who never listened to me and almost tried forcing me to pay, even after telling them I’ve already worked it out with the gym. Eventually, after blocking off payments and cancelling my gym membership I was told I still owed nearly $300 in fees to debit success and they were sending a debt collector after me if I don’t pay it in a certain time span. One big scam, stay far away.

Honestly I had been very patient with this company after signing up with Goodlife, constantly making mistakes on invoices.I decided to close my membership as it wasn't working out and payments kept coming out past the end-date.Tried to call and was met with a very unpleasant and rude lady who told me do you want me to play you a violin?"What on earth is going on with this company? I can see paid-shills providing '5 star feedback'....what a joke"

The worse company to deal with when it comes to any automatic billing. Never reply to any emails, do not cancel subscriptions on time. Impossible to get anything sorted. I have attempted to cancel a subscription 4 months ago, and still awaiting their response. Sent an email trail to them as per their request to prove that we sent the cancellation email to them in writing. Still awaiting their reply... 3 weeks later and still getting charged on a closed account.

This company is one big SCAM. if your gym uses them i highly recommend either paying upfront or using a credit card that you can block easily once they start taking out unauthorised payments. My gym membership comes out fortnightly. They tried to charge me TWICE in a span of two days lucky the second time failed because I don’t keep extra money in that account. BUT THEN the next fortnight they had charged me double the amount plus a $12 fee.

This company uses a dodgy direct debit setup process and will give you false expectations on their services. Was told that my DD would be setup in 3 weeks yet I had to make payments over the counter at my gym for the following 6 months because it wasn't being setup. Multiple emails from myself and my gym were ignored to resolve this. Despite my ongoing efforts to get a simple DD setup Debit Success then sent my account to debt collectors. My account was closed and myself and my gym were unaware for a further 3-4 weeks before it was discovered. Negative 5 stars if possible. Months of headaches and paid my account in full twice and now I've changed gym to get away from this useless company. The CEO should be ashamed and charged for this.

Joined a Flex fitness gym that uses debit success.I thought the $20 setup fee was a bit steep initially and found 14 days to cancel a direct debit was surprisingly slow.I went back to read the contract and it became quite clear debitsuccess is a bottom feeder. With excessive dishonored payment fees and penalties this company has positioned itself well to maximize it's profit taking advantage of NZs most vulnerable.I considered keeping the gym membership ticking over as its not a huge expense and helps a local business but I do not want to support this company.

My 1 year gym membership/contract with empower/true women’s fitness finished - but they kept trying to charge me, I canceled my card so they couldn’t take any money. (Gym didn’t help clear it up)Racked up over a grand worth of fees that I had no idea about as my contract finished and I paid it all off. They only contacted me about 8 months later once the bill was huge. They kept trying to make me pay, but gave up as they have no legal grounds!! Scam.This is sad to others that may not know their rights and will pay the money to stop being harassed.
