This place is fantastic, especially as a stopping point on a journey out from Auckland. The food is really nice, and reasonably priced, the owner is a wonderful man and there's even a bar. Check it out.

As a proud american wrestler, it only took one look at my pizza before I knew it was going to bless my tastebuds. I devoured the pizza and left, profusely thanking the chef and beautiful looking waitress. I have told my good ol american buds about this place and we have planned a trip back to New Zealand just to eat at Ponchello's!

Ponchello's is an outstanding restaurant located on the way to Auckland. I recently had their fish and chips, and it was an absolute delight! The fish was perfectly cooked, flaky, and flavorful, while the chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection. The portion size was generous, and the service was impeccable. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend Ponchello's for anyone craving delicious fish and chips on their way to Auckland.
