We just arrived Christchurch for holiday and this is the first restaurant we went to. Great atmosphere and great staff! All of the food are delicious , especially the fish taco. Highly recommended!

Great service and the food was very good, especially the Nachos. We went in a medium sized group for lunch and had a reasonable wait, where we were checked on regularly to make sure we had enough drinks and the starters were to our liking. Would definitely go in again as there were a lot of things on the menu that I wanted to try!

Upon walking into the well presented lane it looks like a great atmosphere for a dinner.However, going into the restaurant was another story. Service right from the start was poor. Out of our group of 15 people only one drink menu was handed to us!Staff only came to our table after 45min of sitting and that was only for drinks! another 30min later was dinner ordered! 40min after that finally dinner arrived and wow!cold meals are great tasting if that is what was ordered!!!!didn't waste my time on any dessert as it just was not worth the hassle. The few who did however regretted it as they were brought to the table with no utensils. When the utensils came out they were 3 spoons short and then they forgot to come back.*sighUnfortunately they do not have enough staff let alone any idea of how to work in this industry.Overall, Nice place and well presented but don't be fooled!

It was great! All of the items on the menu had little authentic histories. The tequila menu was incredibly long and I would have liked some information about each one (it just had categories and names). I had chicken tostadas and my sister had the pork tacos and both were nice but maybe needed a bit more seasoning and less cheese. The fajitas looked delicious and the pork stew (that turned out to be tacos) was also yum. It all felt very authentic.

I lived in Austin Texas for a year and visited Mexico numerous times. This is the most authentic Mexican food i've had in New Zealand. Food was absolutely delicious and portion sizes were large. Their margaritas were great as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be going here again many times for sure.

This place is all about the authenticity with a little neon bit extra. The food is fast and simple. Tasty and no mucking around. It's no fine dining experience but that is the beauty. Simple traditional Mexican fare. If you are in the mood for the food of the people then I recommend this bar to you

Amazing ambience for salsa dancing and having fun with friends. The live band on Fridays is really good and if you like Latin music you’ll really enjoy it. The place feels really cool inside , has an industrial look and doesn’t have much decoration aside of the big mural by the bar. I’ve only been there to have some drinks and dance with friends. Haven’t had dinner yet so I can’t comment about the food.Really good place to go on Friday night, healthy atmosphere of people dancing and having a good time

Poor service and average food. Disappointing because the place looks amazing. Hoped it would've improved since the refurb. Presentation was good but food was cold in the middle like it hadn't been microwaved properly. I'm hoping they're just getting settled into new location and will get better with time.

Nice place in town to come to, food is decent. Only 1 other group at the time we went. Staff werent very interested in us, took our order then never came to check on us or clear plates once done. Probably wont go back but worth going once to try something different.

Very friendly service. Great that they make their own Corn Chips. Guacamole a little expensive for what it was. Perhaps some fresh vegetables to accompany it would have added to the dish. Breakfast dish my friend ordered was huge, and it was enjoyed and not faulted. Overall a lovely experience.
