Testing can be quite nerve wracking and I find myself incredibly lucky to have built a trust with Lee through the NZAF Awhina Centre that encourages me to test regularly, and makes testing an enjoyable, yet insightful experience.As a trans woman, its hard to find health services that you can feel comfortable opening up to, however, it has been four years since I started coming to NZAF to see Lee for my check ups and rapid testing, and I’ll continue to come back as Lee has a genuine desire to help and support, it’s truly doesn’t go unnoticed.It would be incredible to see this promoted to trans people more, so that it’s known more widely as an avenue for trans people to use for testing.

Awesome people superb service and always professional. Easy to book, they take discretion and privacy seriously but it never impedes their ability to connect at a meaningful level. I trust these guys and feel as though they are there for me at every level. The testing is quick easy accurate and painless!

Friendly, supportive, efficient, relaxed, privacy-friendly and professional. Five stars, no question. Two years ago I was less impressed when they were unable to offer anonymous testing (apparently at the insistence of the National government) and requiring identity disclosure. So pleased that sense has now prevailed!
