What an experience! Manawa is very passionate about his culture and helping others along their journey of loving and learning their Whakapapa. On our vacation, we wanted to connect with an authentic local artist, so we contacted Manawa Moko. After talking with the owner, we drove down to Pukerua Bay from Aukland, and it was more than worth the trip! We absolutely love our new tattoos and had the best experience ever. Most genuine, kind-hearted, and professional service we have ever received. I highly recommend Manawa moko 100%. They made us feel right at home!

I have been fortunate to work with Manawa over a period of 7 years on various pieces, living in Christchurch especially during Covid was difficult to complete, however being able to have Manawa both travel and utilise the studio was a huge bonus. Manawa does outstanding work and I would highly recommend his services.

We had matching Rarotongan/Māori tāmoko completed are they are fantastic. Even travelled to finish ours off because we ran out of time. Awesome service and beautiful tāmoko. Ngā mihi nui.
