A must stay for anyone who enjoys tranquility, incredible food, service and exclusivity. We've stayed a lot of places throughout NZ & worldwide and The McCallum Residence is truly in a class of its own. It's a super special place that my sisters and I go back to every year. We never want to leave.

Absolutely stunning Scottish home in a breathtaking kiwi location. The service from butler Dan and Rachael is spot on - professional, knowledgeable, relaxed, attentive, welcoming and I could keep going.The food was delicious. The rooms are all well appointed and beds comfortable. Kid friendly venue, my 4 year old was treated so well by Rachael and made to feel so special - thankyou!Worth every cent, we had an amazing weekend.

Grand Scottish Georgian country house on the beachfront. Rooms are large and ooze personality, great Scottish decor all the way through, beautiful furniture pieces, hallways and staircases. The food was exceptional and plentiful served by an impeccable team who are very friendly. Great for weddings or conference with well-equipped large boat shed conference centre. If you ever imagined how landed gentry lived in Scotland this is the closest you will get in NZ.

Although I did an event for Totara Hospice, really loved the lay out, beautiful beach side nice, quiet, relaxing area. And staff I meet were very knowledgeable and polite.
