ASBOLUTELY AWFUL! Whanganui District Health Board and its Hospital is THEE worst hopistal and medical sector in New Zealand -PERIOD! I have been to third world coutries with much better medical systems that this one in Whanganui. Plus, what a total ripp off to be forced into to Whanganui Accident and Emergy, (WAM) which is actually a private medical company that profits on vulnerable people who are needing care instead of the DHB allowing them to be seen by ED. It is so deceitful to think you are going to the emergency department when you are actually being forced into a private practice that you have to pay for. After experiencing such an appalling level of care in all areas over the lack 15 years, along with an abject lack of professionalism throughout, I would recommend for everyone to crawl on their hands an knees if necessary to go outside of this distrjct for medical support and advice.

Great staff very professional and friendly. Couldnt have been looked after any better.

OPA appointment, Te Kopae. Doctor out of the room three times. Did not receive a consultation that was booked three months ahead.
