We paid $480 for 4 metre's of hot mix, I asked twice if it was dry, dry and ready to burn Brian said. Not the case all I have is $480 worth of wood that goes black and smokes not much heat at all. I text Brian to let him know I was disappointed and haven’t even had a reply! Poor show Brian! I would give him a wide Beth in the future.

Highly recommend, wood was dry and even a big bag of kindling thrown in. Prompt delivery and great communication.

Just ordered another load of firewood from Brian for the fifth time. Always very well seasoned and cut in good sizes - if he says the wood is 'bone dry', you can rest assured it is. Had variously macro, oregan and blue gum, and all have been very good. Plus he's about the only firewood company that will deliver to Sawyers Bay and Port Chalmers. Very trustworthy, and always felt completely confident I was definitely getting my money's worth.

I'd be very cautious if you were thinking of buying wood off Brian, he's very quick at dropping you off wet wood, but very slow when it comes to picking it back upI was recommended Brian from elderly family members. I read reviews and was wary as there's quite a number of negative reviews but I figured my family members recommended him so maybe a couple people just had a bad experience.I bought 3m of pine from Brian. When delivered, it all looked relatively good and it seemed to burn well. We were wanting a load of blue gum so decided to order 3m of blue gum from Brian ($140/m) and this is where it went downhill in various ways.Brian schedueled delivery for a Saturday. I had things needing to be done but postponed them for the wood delivery. 5pm comes and nothing had been delivered so I messaged Brian and got 2 messages Wednesday at 12 if ok" and "or next Saturday

Brian is very slimy. Be careful with this company. He over charged me $60, sent me wet unseasoned wood, and tried to fool me by giving me a completely different wood than the type I ordered and paid for. My moisture meter read 40% in the wood I received as “seasoned”. It should read 20% or lower. He offered to collect and refund in his defence but I had already stacked the wood by the time I realised. I also don’t trust this man and don’t want him anywhere near my house or family again. Lesson learned. Don’t be me. Go somewhere else.

Brian's delivery was timely, had plenty of helpful advice to assist us (new to using a woodburner) and wood was nice and dry. He gave us a nice mix of wood - macrocarpa, pine and blue gum + a few bags of kindling which was great as well. Would recommend to everyone!
